Please help my fiancee and I choose (and pay) for a wedding band...

seems most people prefer 3/4 or full is all.

Just remember, most people won't have to live with your decisions -- but you and the future Mrs will. Do what works for you guys.

If you werent going with the matching band I personally would prefer 2/3 or eternity with 3 or so stones left out for a sizing band.
Reason being is that you can feel when your ering is not in the middle (due to the head of the center stone) and you tend to
move it back to center when you feel it is off. Its not like that for eternity bands. You wont have anything to "feel". You will mostly
noticed it by having to see that it is off. Of course the closer to eternity it is the less likely the solid metal will be showing.

Does that make sense? Not sure if I explained it that well!:wink2:

Edit...BTW - beautiful ring. I always think ovals feel so romantic!

it makes total sense. and that is the current dilemma. do i go with the matching band that is only 1/2 eternity or do i try to find something else?

maybe now is a good time to ask: with a budget of <$2,000 what are some good options (in Platinum) to look into that might match that Vatche 1533 well? any thoughts?

BGD has their fishtail pave...

Get the 1/2 matching. This is a pretty thin band, I don’t think that there will be much to “feel” in terms uncomfortability and if the size is right, the rings will not spin as much. In the future, you can always get her a 3/4 or full eternity anniversary band.
