Very dear Pricescopers,

Now it is my turn to ask for your help on my search.
I am after a round brilliant with the following specs :
• E/F color with clarity down to VS2 max, or SI1 only if the stone is eye-clean
• with very good / excellent / ideal cut, polish & symmetry
• diameter should be very close or visibly close to 8.0 x 8.0 for a good finger coverage (finger size 4 1/4 to 4 1/2), which should make it from 1.70 to 2.00 carat
• budget 20 KUSD
• I am not in a hurry, since this is a present that I would like to do to myself without any special occasion.

My 3-intensive-week long search ends up with the following stone, at enchanteddiamond :
https://enchanteddiamonds.com/diamonds/view/R170-NND6MJ
Clarity : VS1
Color : F
Fluorescence : None
Polish : Excellent
Symmetry : Excellent
Size : 7.72 x 7.7 x 4.69 mm
Depth : 60.9%
Pavilion Depth : 42.5%
Table 57.0%
Girdle : Medium
Crown Height : 15.0%
Crown Angle : 34.5°
Pavilion Angle : 40.6°

What do you think if it ? Would you please have any other better alternatives elsewhere ?

Thank you all very much in advance for the time you will spend to help me.

You're probably not going to be able to beat that with your specs and budget. That is going to appear smaller than an 8mm stone, but you'd have to increase budget to get to almost 2 cts with those specs, not to mention it is very hard to find stones in the 1.85-1.99 size range. The only thing you really can do to go larger is drop to G color and that would gain you a little more size if you could find a just under 2 ct stone.

Hi Diamondseeker,
Thank you very much for your answer. I am happy that the result of my search could be this satisfactory vs my specs.
I will try though and see in person some diamonds of different colors.
This will help me assess whether I am ready to go down to G so as to have a larger stone.
Will keep you posted.
Thank you so much again ! :wavey:
