Thank you @Kim N for helping me pick a diamond. Now I’m having the setting for both the ring and eternity band made by 1215diamonds. I’ve attached the images. My initial thoughts are that the band is too thick. I was thinking more around 2mm. I was also thinking that the prongs may look a bit chunky. What do you think? How about the width of the eternity band?

Thank you!

I’ve never been a bezel set stone fan or anything that looks like bezel. At least for rings because I feel as if it hides the diamond more and does add bulk. Protection for stones yes, but I’m a more classic prong set kinda girl. Looking at the photos, they are beautiful. I’d say, if you picked this style to protect the diamonds imo it’s not too thick and the only other option to lessen bulk would be smaller stones. If the setting style Included less metal, it might subside those questions you have. I’m not an expert and still learning but that’s just my opinion based on what my visuals are.

For a 3ct diamond, I recommend 2.2-2.5mm for the ring shank.

The eternity band does seem on the wide end and is overpowering the center stone a bit. Is it supposed to be a single prong setting where the diamond girdles are exposed? If so, the girdles will wear down the prongs of the ring unless you wear a spacer.
