Hello all! I have been reading as much as I can find on choosing an ideal marquise diamond and there doesn't seem to be as much information on this cut as on others. I have ordered a total of twelve diamonds and sent most of them back for issues like too much brown, slightly cloudy or just not enough fire for me. I have narrowed it down to these two diamonds which seem to have more fire than any of the others even if the ASET images are slightly better in other ones. The first one is a 5.74 F VS1 LG606345883 and the second one is a 5.46 F VS1 LG608301152. They both do have a slight brown tint, the second one slightly more but it only shows up at the tips in very strong light like direct sunlight. It seems really tough to find a well cut marquise with much fire! Anyway I would appreciate it if you would please look at these two and give me your expert opinions! Thanks so much!
these two seemed to pop compared to all of the others even those with better color and clarity and all of them were supposed to be "ideal" cut. I would love any advice and information as I am not sure if I am choosing excellent diamonds or not. Thanks for your help!!!
