Hey everyone. I need some help picking a wedding photographer. I have narrowed the list to 5 photographers who fit my budget. Each of them offers a little something different for the money they charge but I want to pick the one with the best pictures. I have looked at their websites so often that it is all muddled in my head so a few opinions would be tremendously helpful and appreciated.

The last photographer, Kelly of Closed Circle Photography has only her 2006 wedding shoots in the wedding gallery and all her 2007 wedding pics in her journal/blog so there are 2 links for her pictures. The 2007 wedding pictures have to be viewed by clicking the clickable word “link” under each picture in the jounal to bring up all the other pictures for that wedding. Hope that made sense.

Vote for the photographer you like best. I know 5 photographers is a lot to ask you all to sift through but I could only narrow my decision this far (I started with 17 photographers). Thank you in advance for any and all opinions you can offer me.

I liked Sue Lynch the best... I glanced quickly at all of them and my first impression was that these photos were the best composed and captured the moments and character best.

Looking a bit more a second time... yup, Sue Lynch- definitely. Second would be Nystedt.

sera,

Thank you SO much for looking through them . . . I know there are so many of them. I am going to set up a meeting with Dan soon and have already met with Kelly. I am hoping that between the opinions I get from you guys and my feelings on meeting them, the decision will get easier. :)

Thanks again,

I like the second and third ones only. Sorry, didn''t like the others at all. But that two good leads. Make sure you see an entire weddin beginning to end when you meet them in person and ask them how many shots they get per wedding that lasts the same number of hours as yours, and how many are usually ''usable.''

Thanks Gypsy. I am going to be meeting with all of them but at this point can''t seem to differentiate between them and see enough differences to really know who is the best at the actual photography. Anyone else? Opinions? Thanks.

Sue Lynch, without a doubt! I prefer more photojournalistic style wedding photos that are more candid and the others are just boring to my eye. Sue''s composition is interesting and she seems to capture the moment, not just formal group shots...

My thoughts exactly. I loved Sue''s work but the others'' photos didn''t grab me the same way as hers did.

Have you decided on a place and a caterer?

I also liked Dan- but it doesn''t seem from his webpage that he creates albums. I don''t know if that''s important to you. I like his work though.

thanks surfgirl, zoe and sap . . . i guess sue lynch is the clear winner. I will be meeting with all of them to get a better idea at their style and what a complete wedding looks like for each of them. i will keep you updated.

Zoe,
we did book a venue and caterer. We are having the ceremony and reception at the Castle in the Clouds so we basically blew our budget for the venue and overshot it by more than $1000 so now I am in the process of cutting costs elsewhere. But, it was really such a gorgeous location that I felt I wouldn''t be happy anywhere else.
Thankfully, we also found a caterer. It was looking like a deal breaker for having the wedding there since there are only 2 NH caterers that cook indian food but the one we booked had such yummy food, he is worth every penny as long as the food the day of is as super yummy as our tasting. Thank you for asking . . . I have been sort of MIA on the wedding boards lately, starting to make a reappearance.

There are some possible BIG changes in my life . . . related to my career and living a long time dream . . . so life has been a little hectic and unpredictable.

Anyway, thank you all for your opinions. I REALLY appreciate them.
