Got any pics? That info is really not much to go by... have you seen them all yourself? If so what did you think?

I have to laugh at Cartierlover contemplating between Tiffany rings 8)

Yes, I have seen these rings in the T store.
I think the 1.62ct is bigger but the 1.35+sidestones is more shinning.

I so love the Tiffany classic solitaire! But I wouldn't settle on less than a great diamond in it. So far, I'd be most interested in #3, except we need the numbers!

Dude, you need to give us more to go on! We need the cut info for #3 ...

Re: Please help me make a decision between these 3 Tiffany R

I am going to give you a "cgeat sheet" with some parameters to try to go by. Yes, there can be good stones outside these parameters. But these are what I would use to help me when there are a variety of stones and I want to identify the better ones. Of course, you can also just choose with your eyes and not worry about numbers. The problem I have had in Tiffany's is that their lighting makes all the stones look great and there is absolutely no way to compare them in different lighting environments.

Here's the cheat sheet for rounds (compiled from various experts on PS):

depth - 60 - 62%
table - 54- 57%
crown angle - 34- 35 degrees
pavilion angle - 40.6- 41 degrees
girdle - thin to slightly thick, thin to medium, etc (avoid very thin or thick)
polish and symmetry - very good and above

note - with crown and pavilion angles at the shallower ends ( CA 34- PA 40.6) and steeper ( CA 35- PA 41) check to make sure these angles complement in that particular diamond - eyeballs, Idealscope, trusted vendor input - check as appropriate!

Also, configurations depend on each other. A little give here can still work with a little take there.

With that said, here''s a "Cliff''s Notes" for staying near Tolkowsky/ideal angles with GIA reports (their numbers are rounded): A crown angle of 34.0, 34.5 or 35.0 is usually safe with a 40.8 pavilion angle. If pavilion angle = 40.6 lean toward a 34.5-35.0 crown. If pavilion angle = 41 lean toward a 34.0-34.5 crown.

GIA "EX" in cut is great at its heart, but it ranges a bit wider than some people prefer, particularly in deep combinations (pavilion > 41 with crown > 35). In other words, there are some GIA Excellents that are better than others.

Also, always check diameter to be sure stone faces up as large as it should, ex: 1 ct. 6.5mm, 1.5 cts. 7.4mm, etc.

Here is the #3,

62.1% depth,
59% table,
35.4° crown angle,
43.2% pavilion,
0% cutlet

note that the 'cheat sheet' is fairly restrictive and there are lots of great stones that fall outside of those parameters...in general I think the "Tiffany" look is more of a steeper crown/steeper pavilion/bigger table/longer LGFs than the cheat sheet 'ideal'
