It looks beautiful - I would personally want to inspect it loose to make sure the inclusions aren't readily eye-visible to me - but otherwise it looks a great candidate and very well-priced.

Did you request an idealscope image? Hopefully the stone is in the NY area.

I have not requested an idealscope. I wasn't sure if this was necessary considering the ideal cut and proportions but i'll look into it. The James Allen rep assured me the diamond was "eye-clean"

Reflector images are almost always needed. Excellent cut grade isn't quite ideal cut. And GIA excellent or AGS ideal still have some leeway in specs so you should still request IS and ASET images to see how performance is. If those check out then you need to view it in person to see if it pleases your eye.

Beautiful. I think it's lovely. I'd be okay buying it without a reflector image. You can get one when you get it appraised and they have a great return policy.
