Hi Everyone,
I've been lurking around the forums for a bit now and learning a lot from everyone. I've done months of searching and am starting to get to the point where I'm ready to buy. I found two diamonds that I'm seriously considering and was wondering if anyone could provide some extra opinions:
Diamond 1:

0.76 ct Excellent-cut, I-color, and VS1-clarity
Carat Weight:0.76

Lab Name: GIA

Table: 56.00
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Girdle: M-Slight Thi
Culet: None
Fluorescence: Medium
Ratio: 0.00
Measurements: 5.83 x 5.85 x 3.62
HCA: 1.6 (Light: Excellent, Fire: Excellent, Scintillation: Excellent, Spread: Very Good)

Diamond 2:
==========
0.80 ct Excellent-cut, J-color, and VS2-clarity
Carat Weight: 0.80
Cut: Excellent
Color: J
Clarity: VS2
Lab Name: GIA
Depth: 61.70
Table: 54.00
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Girdle: TN-M
Culet: None
Fluorescence: Medium
Ratio: 0.00
Measurements: 5.99 x 6.00 x 3.70
HCA: 1.4 (Light: Excellent, Fire: Excellent, Scintillation: Very Good, Spread: Very Good)

I'm not sure what I think about the I vs J color (I think both may be alright). From what I've read, there won't be much of a difference between Very Good and Excellent polish and symmetry (but feel free to tell me I'm wrong). Both should be eye clean (VS1 vs VS2) so I think I would be happy with both.
As far as priorities, sparkle/fieriness come first but size isn't far behind.
The first diamond has a lot more info on it (ASET, Idealscope, Hearts view) and is part of the Perfection series for what it's worth. The second is cheaper by a bit over $400. Any opinions? Is one much better than the other? Or are both problematic in some ways?
