Please help me critique this Oval diamond

My daughter found the following diamond. She really liked it but isn''t as particular about all the details.
My concern is she found this in the diamond district of NYC and while there are many reputable dealers you still have many who know when they are dealing with a consumer who is buying with her heart more than her head.

Here is the info on the cert (EGL)

She wasn''t able to see the inclusions under the loop and felt the color was fine. The dealer said it probably was more like an "H" color.
There is a 30 day return policy and she plans to have it appraised by a gemologist I found on pricescope vendor list.

Does anything in the data stand out as a real problem? I''m just too inexperienced to determine by the numbers if this is a decent cut stone.

I don''t know too much about ovals, but I think it is a diamond you have to buy with your eyes. I can''t help with the numbers, but here are my thoughts.

1) Did you both look at the stone under many different lights? This can affect how the stone appears to return light as well as the inclusions

2) Have you seen a plot of the inclusions? You want to make sure there are not any that can compromise the stone (i.e. a feather breaking the surface)

With ovals, you want to find a stone that has a minimal "bow tie," which is a dark spot in the middle of the stone that looks like a bow tie. This oval shows a light bowtie in the middle.

I can''t see any flags with the numbers but as you know they don''t tell you much! The appraisal is an excellent idea, and for your daughter to get in writing that the sale of this diamond is final on a favourable report. Which EGl lab is it?

I see two problems. One is the inclusion on the pavilion that is close the the edge.
The other is the table.

The EGL is USA.

My daughter said they would put it in writing that sale is final upon a good appraisal. But I think we have to be careful of the wording. I''m going to suggest she use David Wolf for the appraisal.

What type of inclusion is near the edge? If it is a feather that hits the girdle or breaks the surface then that might be an issue, however this is unusual - but a good appraiser such as Mr Wolf will know and advise. As for the table measurement, look at the diamond as a whole, one number does not make a good diamond, especially with fancy shapes, so if your daughter likes it then that is the main thing. You have done a wonderful job helping your daughter and fiance MrsHall - kudos to you!!
