Hi everyone!
I was lurking this site for some time now and finally decided to take a plunge and buy this stone:
1.23, G, VS1, Ideal

It score pretty good on HCA: 1.4
Light Return Excellent
Fire Excellent
Scintillation Excellent
Spread
or diameter for weight Very Good

I reserved the stone until tomorrow and wanted to hear some advice from the pros here:) I''d really appreciate your help!

Thank you!

Hi open,

Looks like a weener to me!

Thank you, Ellen!
My only concern is color as I''ve never seen G-colored stones in person.

Well, since it''s an AGS000 I can only assume this is a great stone!

Mine is 1.22 G/SI1 (eyeclean) and trust me, the color is WHITE! plus with a VS1 clarity, you won''t be able to see a thing! Have you considered VS2 or even SI1? That can help drop the price and maybe buy bigger

However, if you like the idea of a very very clean stone, this seems to be a great choice and lovely size if I do say so myself

I wouldn''t worry about the color. G is considered "Near Colorless" but tests show most people are unable to see any sign of color until the color grade L-M.

I was considering VS2, but since I'm buying without seeing it, I don't wanna take chances. Majority of the reports aren't properly scanned and it's hard to see the inclusions.

I guess my last worry is the table size. This stone has 53.5%

Hmm, it does say that on the report, yet not on the front page. I wonder why.... Might ask them about it. However, there''s nothing wrong with that size. It''s not that small, just a hair under 54. Some people like smaller tables, some prefer a tad larger. I''d give this one a chance and see what you think. It''s all personal preference.

As for the color G, you should not see anything, it''s at the very top of the near colorless category. For what it''s worth, I''ll show you my G VS1.

HTH!
