Thank you guys so much. I was so nervous before, but feel much better after getting all the great advice from all of you.

Ken H.

The 2nd stone should have a little less fire, a little more brightness than the first.

Need more info please, crown and pavilion angles for the first diamond? Also did you want VVS clarity? VS should be eyeclean and cost less, just a thought, unless you prefer VVS of course! With the info given, I would be more interested in the first diamond for the proportions, so if you could get the angles, that would help.

Ditti Lorelei on needing the angles for the BN stone.

And I would recommend this one over the second stone. It''s cut a bit better, is a tad larger, and a tad less.

With the angles on the BN stone, I would want to see an IS image, but they don''t give them. So based on everything, I still recommend the last one I posted. It''s just cut better.

Ditto.

Do you think there would be any issue with the medium blue flourescence? And the one suggested over the 2nd one in my original post (the WF one)?

There shouldn't be an issue with medium blue fluorescence, the WF diamond El posted is the best cut diamond.

IF there was any affect from the fluorescence, it would only be to make the I appear whiter, which would not be a bad thing!

Thank you! One other question... how about the ACA diamonds, with a better cut, but are SI1?

Or should I try to wait and see what comes out in the future, as far as ACA, that is more in between the price of what they have now (less than $16,616 but more than $12,425)

Any of those would be lovely, really. Just ask WF if they are eyeclean, if so, it''s just a matter of what color you want.

What would you be waiting for? Higher ct. weight, color?

Color is one concern. Also clarity, but your suggestion of contacting them and asking them if they are eye clean is helpful. I will start with that.

Thanks again.

You''re welcome! And just ask if you have any more questions.

I just bought a 1.01 carat princess from WF. I shopped almost exclusively at Blue Nile and WF while I was searching, once I had done some research on this board. I narrowed it down to those because both places had reasonable prices and the exact setting I wanted. I found though that WF had such personalized customer service that I ended up going with them. You will know a ton about your dimond before it ever reaches you with WF. They really hold your hand through the entire process. Blue Nile has some beautiful things and I wouldn''t be against buying from them, but they don''t offer that personal touch you will get with WF. When my sales person at WF had helped me choose a stone to look at it was brought in (he called first to be sure it was truly eye clean). I got an ASET, Sarin, and IdealScope as well as a 40x magnification picture of the diamond. I got all the stats from WF, then posted here and got reassurance that my stone looked good. I am very happy with my purchase. I will certainly contact WF again when I get ready for my upgrade

Another good point for purchasing from WF, I don''t think BN has a trade up policy. WF has both a buy back and a trade up policy. Best of luck! Can''t wait to see what you end up with!
