Please help me choose

Hi,

I''m a lurker coming out of hiding. After seeing everyone''s White Flash bezel earrings, I decided that I need a pair!

I am trying to decide between these two pairs of stones, being a newbie, I would really appreciate some guidance on which to choose, or if theres a better choice I missed!

These are 2 sets of superbly cut diamonds and ACA''s to boot! I think you could choose either pair and be delighted, personally I would choose the F SI clarity, but it depends on what you value more, you can''t go wrong in any case!

Thanks for the response Lorelei - I am leaning towards the F myself, but the SI2 clarity scares me a little. WF says they''re eye clean, so I guess I shouldn''t worry, huh?

The sizes are slightly off too, the I pair are closer in size. Will I be able to notice the difference once they''re set?

WF are very used to evaluating ' eyecleanliness' and advising their customers accordingly. I think also in that size that they should be fine, but if you are concerned, I KNOW WF will want to do their utmost to reassure you! I know that SI2 can be a little disconcerting, but you can be sure WF will be honest with you! Also I really don't think with the size difference, that you will notice any difference, ask the good peeps at WF again to get reassurance there also, but I doubt there will be an issue. You are going to have some stunning earrings!

Both are great, but I would go with the F/SI stones. I think there is a noticeable difference in color between F and I whereas as long as the stone is eye clean you can easily go down to an SI2. If WF says they are eye clean I really wouldn''t worry about them. In this size especially it should be pretty clean.

A question on the SI2 grade - I see a large cloud on the AGS report - do I need to be worried about the diamond looking cloudy/dull if its a ACA stone?

Sometimes I think too much research is a bad thing LOL

I would call them up and ask them to eye ball the stone for you and give you their opinion on it. It''s probably fine, but this is a really good way to find out!
