Hello everybody,

First of all, I would like to thank everybody for all the information provided here, It has been very helpful!

I'm planning to purchase my first engagement ring very soon and I'm planning to fit it onto this setting:

Hopefully I followed everything correctly, and based on my budget here is what I have narrowed it down to (in no particular order):

http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/0.60-carat-h-color-si2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-401999

http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/0.66-carat-i-color-si1-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-411986

http://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut/0.61-carat-h-color-si2-clarity-excellent-cut-sku-389153

They all have some flaws and am worried about performance and durability.
Any suggestions or preferences?

Thank you!

Ok..I'm not getting any feedback.
Sorry, but I'm new at this. Am I missing information?
If so, what more do I need to provide?

Thanks!

I'd eliminate the .66 stone because it has a brown undertone and I would only consider that when setting in rose gold. Ask for the idealscope images on the other three and post them here. Do ask if they are eyeclean from the top and sides as well.

Hi all!

Happy New Year and thank you for your replies!

I apologize that I did not reply back sooner, but the holidays have slowed things down a bit to get a reply back from the gemologist. Now, I'm afraid that I will be short of time since I would like to get the ring in hand before a trip for a surprise.

Taking in consideration your previous replies, I went ahead and requested Idealscope images for the 1st and 4th ones, previously posted.

This is a true I color diamond that faces up white. The overall brilliance is excellent - the stone has nice life and brightness throughout with great fire and sparkle. The diamond is eye clean.

This is a true H color diamond that, to the gemologist's trained eye, faces up slightly whiter than 400900. It has the best brilliance and overall light performance, and is very bright with fire and sparkle throughout. It has excellent cut proportions and great spread, causing it to face up very slightly larger than 400900. The diamond is eye clean.

I'm leaning towards the 2nd listed on this post, but please let me know what would you suggest.
