Please Help! looking for an engagement diamond

I am new to this site and does not have much knowledge about diamond. I am looking for a round 1.5ct or higher engagement diamond. My budge is around $16000. I have done some searching and found these two that I like but not sure which is one better or worth the money

I personally like VVS diamonds with I or higher color. I prefer the 1.7 ct one because of the size of the stone but not sure if it is much better than the 1.55 ct one. Does 1.7 ct stone look much bigger on the ring than 1.55ct or not so much? Do you guys have better suggestions other than the above two? I would really appreciate your help! Thanks a lot!

For me personally I would drop down to SI1 and find something that is eye clean. I don't care if I can see inclusions with a 10x loupe as long as it is clear by the naked eye. That way you can get a higher color or larger diamond. You will find that on this forum eye clean is pretty much standard.

No, 1.7 is not much bigger than 1.5, but the Brian Gavin one is virtual.

I LOVE the 1.7!!!! That idealscope is beautiful!!! The last stone that JulieN posted may be worth looking into. You can ask for an idealscope for that as well. So far though, I am loving that 1.7!
