Hi everyone,
I am working with Lesley and Brian at Whiteflash to buy a diamond and design a pendant for it. The pendant will have a halo and a very thin bezel around it.
Both Lesley and Brian have been wonderful to me over the phone.
I was on the phone with Brian for 2 hours the other day while he taught me all about diamonds.
I have narrowed my choices down to the following:
1.87 carat
A Cut Above (ACA)
Hearts and Arrows
I Color
VS1
1.732
A Cut Above (ACA)
Hearts and Arrows
G Color
S1I
Brian said that both diamonds are beautiful. He also said that the diamonds are cut so perfectly that upon viewing each diamond he cannot notice a difference in color between the "I" and the "G"
The 1.87 diamond is a bit more expensive and looks substantially larger than the 1.732 but should I be concerned about the "I" color?
Brian said that I should choose the 1.87
My diamond ring is "F" color so it scares me a little to choice a diamond with an "I" but Brian said that the "I" is perfectly clean and white.
What would you do?
Thanks for your help!
