Hello everyone. Im very new to diamonds and have read through multiple threads and watched many video to try and determine the right ring to get my girlfriend within my budget.

Ideally I would like to spend around 3000 on both the diamond and setting. considering my budget I have made my decision on these 4 options . Any expert suggestions and opinions would be greatly appreciated

I like #2 - eye clean, great price.
What kind of setting are you looking at? I also wanted to throw this out there if you just want a simple setting:

http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-3337352.htm $2,662 0.732 ct I SI1
http://www.whiteflash.com/engagement-rings/solitaire/4-prong-tiffany-style-solitaire-engagement-ring-587.htm $339.50
http://www.whiteflash.com/engagement-rings/solitaire/6-prong-tiffany-style-solitaire-engagement-ring-582.htm $339.50
So, total of $3001.50 if you wire.

That diamond will put you overbudget for any other setting though.

Thank you for the suggestion! the link you gave me was actually my 5th option on a list i made. I do plan on getting a simple setting solitaire setting. I was considering matching the diamond to a knife edge 4 prong and going a bit over my 3000 budget isnt too big of an issue for me.

in your opinion would the 500 price difference be worth it for the larger .73? it seems to also have the best HCA score of all my options

There is no "best" HCA score. Anything under 2 is good. A score of 0.5 is no better than 1.9. FYI

Correct! They will just look different. You can look up BIC, TIC and FIC for more info, but they're all 'good' just 'different'.

Anyways, only you can decide if the size is worth more. Cost is the 5th c ;) For me personally, yes, it would be worth it. Also, keep in mind you can always upgrade later on. So staying within budget might be good now, and get something larger in a year, or 5.
