I don't think it falls into ideal cut parameters. It's generally good to look for a table of 54-57 and a depth from 60-62 roughly. You should also get very good or better polish and symmetry. I think the price is okay as long as you understand there are stones that would be better cut and a better choice. Here's an example of a stone with similar size, color, and clarity but is ideal cut at $3600.

You also can go to F or G color and still be very white and drop the price a little or increase the diamond size.

ds has given you good advice. I would just add, if you can get the crown and pavillion angles, at the top of the page under Tools, there is the Holloway Cut Adviser. You can plug all the numbers from a stone in, and it will let you know by a numerical score how good, or not so good your stone is. Try to keep it under 2 for the very best performing stones.

Ditto what my friends DS and Miss Ellen have said. If you have been reading here for a while you will know that cut is the most important thing for a diamond's beauty. Read up on the tutorials to get some info on cut and the best proportions to look for, and compare. Time spent learning about cut is never wasted, this way you will get a diamond which will sparkle and be beautiful which you can both enjoy for many years. Regarding the diamond you are thinking of we need more info, but I think from the limited info we have you can do better.

Thanks lot for your advice. I think I ''ll learn more and make a better choice. This website and forum is a great help and you guys are awesome.

Have a nice day.

You''re very welcome! Many of us started out here the same way, and you can learn a lot over time! Besides the tutorials on this site, I also love the 4C''s section on the Good Old Gold site, because it includes really good pictures of color, clarity, etc.
