At first I was considering F Si1 but I think I may go the G VS2 route. Do you guys think this is a good idea quality-wise? I'm kind of color sensitive, will it appear as white as the F? Based on specs alone which of the two would you prefer? TIA!

G VS2 is an excellent combo! Can you post the crown and pavilion angles for each diamond please? That way we will be able to help you determine which is the best diamond.

Ditto.

And G is safe at almost any size in any shape. I have a 1.4 G round, and I can''t see anything but sparkling whiteness.

Oops here they are! I''m also hoping to maximize spread, which one would have good performance AND good spread? or are they equally similar?

Diamond 1 (1.52)
crown angle: 34
pavillion angle: 41.2

Diamond 2 (1.51)
crown angle: 33.5
pavillion angle: 41

I prefer #2.
