Hi all,

I''ve been lurking on the site for the past few weeks, admiring your beautiful rings but now are coming to you for advice.
My boyfriend and I are getting engaged and I need some advice on the ring we have picked.
We come from Sydney, so it will be hand - made by our jeweler but I am unsure on where to sit regarding the colour and clarity.

The ring is from Fay Cullen:

and we are looking at around
0.5 caret (I have little hands)
F/SI1-VS1

We have a budget of about $3500

Thankyou!

Welcome,

Your colour and clarity requirements are fine, you could even consider SI2 if verified eyeclean and G or H colour if you like the idea. Did you want a modern round brilliant diamond, or an old cut to go with the style of your ring?

Very pretty! I ditto Lorelei and will add that you should ask to see similar pieces that any jeweler has made, especially when asking them to do delicate work like you want. Just make sure they can execute it well BEFORE you commission them to make it.
