Please help diamond choice.

Hi Pricescopers.

I''m from UK and decided against buying a diamond from UK online vendors as they don''t have images or idealscope available. I didnt want to buy without seeing the diamond as i wouldnt know how they perform. So I want to buy from US.

My criteria is an excellent performing stone, excellent light and sparkle performance. I don''t mind tiny inclusions, and would probably go as low as si1 si2. I think I would like a color of G (though I cannot compare color as ive not seen a well-cut I color stone, and im not sure about going as low as a I) However I would maybe prefer a larger size diamond and go down on color. I don''t know my tolerance levels, as UK shops dont have Excellent cut I color stones for me to look. I think G is safe for me. Size around 6mm (0.80 carat). Budget approx 3000$. Please help.

Both look good. Ask if the SI1 is eye-clean. The ES stone has some slight leakage that will not be visible in real life.

Lets take a look...

Both look great if they are eyeclean, with the second diamond there is a small portion of leakage at around 5 o'clock, but it might not be of any consequence, check with WF if this is so.

Are you anywhere near London by any chance? If so there is a dealer that sells top cut stones there that you could view.

The vendor I had in mind is Dr Indira Marchant of www.bestdiamonds.co.uk Indira sells Infinity hearts and arrows brand. Indira is a super lady and a true expert, I have personal experience with her although I haven't purchased from her yet, so it could be well worth making an appointment to see her.
