Hi MP,

Do you have the diameter measurements of these two please? Any Idealscope images?

Hi Lorelei,

The dimensions of the first diamond are 6.23*6.21*3.81 and the second are 6.27-6.24-3.8.

No idealscope images. The guy from James Allen said they would take a couple days and that the HCA would be more reliable.

I would have to disagree with that....So going by these numbers, I''d pick the second one.

Motown, I will defer to ellen's judgement on the stone, but just fyi this comment from your rep is a little baffling..

Idealscope images are not normally a problem....I would also pick the second with the info we have.

I just had the same experience with JAmes Aleen in that they told me the idealscope would take a couple of days (they did not tell me the HCA would be more accurate however) but other pricescopers advised me to ask for a Sarin report, which I did. JAmes Allen got it to me within a day and a half. I *think* the Sarin can somewhat replace the idealscope, right?

I got an idealscope image for the first stone. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks

It looks fine, do you have the actual pic of the diamond please?

Here is the pic I got off of James Allen.

Are you still awaiting the IS and pic for the second diamond?

The second is from Union Diamond, and I wasn''t able to get a IS for it.

Is there a big difference between the two? Something that is worth the $500.

Are they both GIA graded?

Should I be worried at all about the thin girdle, very small culet, or medium flourescence?

No worries, a thin girdle should be fine, very small culet is no issue see here - http://diamonds.pricescope.com/culet.asp Medium fluorescence is also not a problem.

I just bought it with this setting. I hope it turns out ok!
