A few of you may remember my e-ring which you helped us with this winter.

Here is a better photo from LM's site:

Since it is a little bit unusual in design, I am having trouble deciding on a band to go with it. I have been seriously considering a Tiffany Legacy or Legacy-style ring because I think the antique style/milgrain may complement the e-ring well.

Then I saw this ring in person at Michael C. Fina:
http://www.michaelcfina.com/engagement-wedding-rings/wedding-bands/erica-courtney-platinum-tiny-leaf-diamond-band-RP211.html?????

It looked really beautiful and delicate with my ring, but the downside is it is so delicate it looks a bit odd on its own (if I didn't want to wear my e-ring), and it's $4400, which seems like a whole lot for such a little ring, especially one that can never be resized.

Finally, I saw this at Lang Antiques online:
http://www.langantiques.com/products/item/110-1-4982

But this concerned me in the other way--why is it so inexpensive? It seemed like a bit of a steal so I worry that it won't be as well-made as I would like, next to my LM ring. Has anyone ever purchased a new ring from them? Are they well-made?

I would love your advice. What do you guys think? Which, if any of these options do you think work with my ring? Any other suggestions?

I was just looking at your ring on LM's Facebook page yesterday! I just love it (and especially the story behind it).

I think a Legacy or similar would be lovely. For my taste, I would prefer something more simple than the Michael Fina band. Another option that would be classic but also really compliment your ering would be something like Asscher Girl's cushion bezel band:

A cushion bezel would be beautiful!

First of all, your ring is stunning! I really like Rosebloom's idea for the cushion bezel with milgrain detail.

There is no other choice! This style of wedding band will bring the whole design together and really MAKE the set!

See, this is why I need you guys, because I would not have thought of this style possibility. I just looked through Asscher Girl's threads (fabulous taste btw) and unfortunately it seems that this ring was originally an Ebay find, then bought off another PSer. Do you guys know of any stores in NYC that might have a similar style that I could try on to see how it would look? And of course, any suggestions for where to actually buy such a ring?

I think your ring is perfection so I wouldn't want to add much. A plain band, maybe a simple eternity.

Thank you!
I also want to make sure my engagement ring stays the "star." I think the cushion bezel idea is really cool but I wonder if it is too "matchy" in a way that would overemphasize the geometric aspects of the ring. That's why I'd love to try one on if possible. But that's why I was also wondering if something like a simple engraved band would make sense?

Sadly, I'm not sure where you could try one on. Last time I was in Graff they had a semi-bezel eternity that was similar in feel.

If I were you, I'd have Leon make a dainty one - only 2mm wide perhaps? And also get an engraved band and stack the set! It would be so gorgeous!
