Please help, a first time buyer for an engagement diamond :-)

Hi Everyone!

I''ve been lurking and reading PS for a month up until now, shopping for a (hopefully) sparkly engagement diamond. =D

A huge thank you to all of the advice and knowledge you have shared! I have almost decided on one, but it has a green scratch on one side of the table (I''m attaching a picture, hopefully it will show up okay)

Round 1.86ct E VS1,

AGSL report:
depth: 61.3
table: 56.7
girdle: 1.3 to 3.8
crown angle: 34.5
pavilion angle: 40.9

There is also a GCAL report with different measurements: table: 57, depth: 61.1, culet: 0.4, crown: 34.4, pavilion: 40.8

Should I worry about the green scratch or the feather?

I also wasn''t sure if the optical symmetry and optical brilliance were good or not. Any advice or general comments are most appreciated and welcome.

The diamond has good numbers and could be a great looking rock. I am not fond of these particular images purely because I can't tell much from them, the optical symmetry looks ok face up but the heart patterning image is not great so difficult to tell much from that. Some number variance between measuring methods is normal. As to the green scratch I can't see it, I don't imagine it would be anything crucial as the diamond is VS1 but you could ask BN to evaluate it for you.

Feather shouldn't be an issue in VS1.

Ditto, numbers look good, inclusions shld not be a problem with VS1.
