Can someone link me to something other than a colorful chart with GIA and AGS comparisons, or just tell me what I should tell a co-worker to look for in terms of Table, Depth, Crown Angle, Pavillion Angle, Girdle specs for an ''ideal'' or "near ideal" round? I can''t get the search thingy to work for me today.

Gypsy,
Here''s what I''ve pulled out from old posts and saved. Not sure exactly which thread it came from.

table 54-57%
depth 60-62%
crown angle 34-35
pavilion angle 40.6 to 41
polish and symmetry should be at least very good to excellent
avoid girdles that are very thin and below, slightly thick and upwards

Perfect. My sincerest thank Chrono.

Gypsy, I posted that on another thread, but change it to 40.7 to 41 pavilion angle. 40.6 doesn''t always work, so it is safer to stay with 40.7 to 41.

OK. Sent thread to him. It was easier. Thanks very much all!
