Just how low-grade would this stone have to be (or how desperate the seller) to be offered for $5K?

My eyes are so useless! Maybe $5K for LASIK... I can hardly tell anything from that picture. Moreover, I have no eye whatsoever for diamonds - yet. Thank goodness I''m not buying my own ring.

I can see an adorable doggy, though... I''m waiting for two long coat chis to be weaned so they can come home to us. They''re 3 weeks old today.

Everyone here might be (and probably is) right, but I wouldn''t'' necessarily make too much of a photo. For just interest purposes, you could communicate with them, and get certificate info, if there is any, and diamond details, not obviously present.

Many smart ones here do suggest avoiding e-bay and other such venues. Ideas might help below my signature.

Deco''s pup is actually a little Papillon (correct me if I''m wrong, Deco). Ours always gets mistaken for a long-haired chihuahua, too!

I thought it might be a Papillon... they''re beautiful. I don''t have a grip on posting images here yet - but as so as I do, I''ll post pup pics. Oooh! Say that three times fast!
