I plugged the numbers in and says that either you have the wrong numbers or the girdle is overyly thick.

atroop711- thanks for pointing that out, I had the crown and pav angles switched. It should be 41 pav and 34 crown.

The HCA give it a 1.4, which is good. However, I prefer a diamond closer to these specs:

depth 60.4-61
crown 34.4-34.8
pavilion 40.5-40.8

Starry, have you seen this diamond in person yet? Also, if you wanted to save some money, you could go down to an eye clean SI.

your welcome. The new numbers come up with 1.4 and that is good. I would look at the stone in person and if you like the way it looks go for it unless you want numbers within a certain range. I wasn''t super picky and wanted a great stone (but I don''t have what some would consider perfect numbers). My HCA score was great and the stone is blinding so I went with it.

It should be a nice bright diamond. I like those opposites on angles. They tend to work well together.

Thank you all for your input. I haven''t seen the diamond yet. I guess it is at a trade show for the cutter. I would actually probably prefer an SI clarity but I thought this looked pretty attractive so I wouldn''t be against the VS1 grade.

Any more feedback would be great, thanks!
