Hi,

I''ve been lurking for quite a while on the site, and the forum. Finally getting ready to purchase.
Pls kindly comment on the follow 3 diamonds. OR pls let me know if i''m totally off base. The budget is right around these 3. +/- 1,000 is acceptable. If i''m totally off, should head a different direction etc.

Thank you very much in all of your expertise!

All gorgeous diamonds! You can''t go wrong with an ACA. My D colour ACA is stunning - icy icy white little fireball. You will not be sorry. You are absolutely not on the wrong track, you have picked some of the best stones available.

Out of the three posted, I would go for either of the D stones, because I really love the icy white of a D, and I could start to see the difference between an D or E and an F (very colour sensitive). The prices are very similar however, so if you think your partner is not going to be colour sensitive, you could go the F for the slight increase in size. You do however, need to confirm if these stones are eyeclean, and you could always ask someone from WF what their preference is out of these stones. They are very honest, and they will tell you the best stone in their opinion.

Well done, your GF is going to be blown away! Don''t forget to post pics when you get them!!

What she said....

Seriously, if it were me, I would select the middle one (which of course is the most expensive one). It is close in size to the F, but the color is better. I did not buy my diamond from WhiteFlash, but I did have the opportunity to speak to them while I was searching and I found them to be wonderfully helpful!

the one that''s 400 dollars more is 0.06 carat bigger. not sure if that is at all visible. :)

thanx for all the comments!

I''d go with the F SI1 if eyeclean.

Ditto! All 3 are gorgeous, but the F/SI1 is bigger and less expensive than the other two. Bigger and less expensive, yet equally well cut? That''s a no brainer!

Double ditto... you probably won''t see the difference in color from D unless you have them side by side pavilion up.

Second thoughts creeping up.

should i drop color a bit to say a G, and get a VS2 instead of SI1?
how clean is SI1 versus a VS2?

or even.. drop the H&A cut, and go for more clarity?

there''s like a million things to read on this site. it''s great :)
any expert opinions?

ThankS!

Did you ask if the F was eyeclean? If it is, stick with that. Eyeclean is eyeclean, you don''t need "more" of what you can''t see.

I looked for a G or H with SI1 clarity so you might get bigger, but there''s only 1 G and even though the ct. weight is a hair higher, it''s not facing up as big as the F.

Stop thinking. Call. It will be ok.

I did.. and apparently they are all eye clean :)

call.. meaning? call who?
i''ve been in contact with WF through email :) i don''t like calling and have the entire office talk about my diamond purchase ideas. hahaha
:)

thanx for the advice tho!!
