Please check this aquamarine for bow tie

I purchased this radiant cut aquamarine from Africa Gems. I asked them if this was a bow tie before purchasing. They said no.. It’s not that dark but I can see what looks like a bow tie. Is is? Thank you so much for looking.I apologize for the crummy photos.

I think I see what you are referring to; I wouldn't call it a bow-tie but more of an artifact of the radiant cut.

FWIW I think it is quite a pretty Aquamarine, well cut with a nice color, and radiants I think look even better once set ... YMMV.

Thank you so much @marymm..I really appreciate your opinion…That’s what he described it to be. I really love light colors..I know that’s not everyone’s favorite..but for me..the color is perfect.

It wouldn’t bother me as it’s small, like you said. A bow tie (aside from the geometry stuff) is caused by your head blocking the light as you look directly down at the stone so I think when it’s set you wouldn’t notice it much.
