http://www.brilliantlyengaged.com/this-x-factor-cushion-diamond-has-been-reserved.-gid-93277.html
Assets and diamond specs at this link. We've reserved this diamond and will be seeing it in person tomorrow along with any others in stock at Brilliantly Engaged. We plan to have it set in a hand forged micropave halo done by Mark at the same company. My fiancé to be wants to get stone and setting from the same establishment and Mark seems to have excellent reviews on here and a large cushion inventory.
Our budget is fairly flexible, and this stone is significantly less than what we expected to spend, but for some reason, it seems extremely reasonably priced, and something about the faceting excites me. I wouldn't mind going smaller, as I originally planned to look at cushions in the 1.5 to 1.8 range. Of course, I love big diamonds and wouldn't mind the larger size! I can't wait to see it in person, but would love the advice of the experts on here (I'm not as good at judging assets). If other stones similarly priced (or maybe give and take a few thousand) seem better, would love your thoughts on that as well. Since we will be going in person tomorrow, I plan to look at lots of stones before selecting one!
Thanks for all of your help, even though I've never posted here before, from reading your posts I feel I have learned so much!
