Please advise--F Si1 (1.3) vs G Vs2 (1.26) from BN

Hi, I am a new buyer and could use a little advise on a couple of stones I am looking at from Blue Nile. Both are RB ideal cuts, one is a F Si1 (1.3) and the other is a G Vs2 (1.26). BN said that the Si1 was eye clean. I am a novice here, so any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

if they both score below 2 on the HCA, then its hard to judge them any farther since BN doesnt provide diamond, ASET or idealscope images besides just personal preference on color/clarity grades

What is HCA? Are there better online sellers? I heard BN was one of the best.

BN is a major online vendor but not necissarily the best.

I''d check out Whiteflash (www.whiteflash.com), Good Old Gold (www.goodoldgold.com), Winfields (www.winkjones.com), and James Allen (www.jamesallen.com) too. They provide more information (images) on the diamonds they have listed.

I agree with everyone else. However if you did have to choose between the two BN diamonds I would choose the F SI1. The G VS2''s measurements are a little wonk. 6.97 - 7.12 - 4.28 makes it slightly oval not round. I think I have heard anything over .1 mm difference might be noticeable. However the more experienced on this board know better than me. Good luck!!
