please advice on earrings. thanks

Dear all,

I recently purchased a non certified set of earrings of 2ctw. The design is five stone on each side in single file (thus each side is 1ctw and each diamond is 0.2ct). it is a loop earring with omega clips. I bought it for $1200.

However the jeweler also had a set of GIA cert diamond studs 1.08 ctw, each diamond is 0.54ct going for $1500... should i exchange it?

The loop omega looks different from the usual earrings. simple and classy. but i thought it was not certified... should i change it?

anyone please? is it more worth to get the GIA 1ctw or keep the 2ctw non certified?

Need more info Moon, cut is crucial for earrings too, can you get the usual info from the report please

MoonRiver, it sounds like you really like the pair of earrings you already have. If you are happy with them, I would keep them and get some studs with certs some other time. That of course is just my humble opinion though.

Sounds like you love them. LOOK, they are earrings, enjoy them.. Certed or not. Most of my earrings are not certed. I know a great cut when I see one. I am not looking for super ideal in my ears, I''d rather have that on my hand. But everyone is different. I do care about inclusions, and don''t want to see any visible inclusions, or carbon spots..

Please post them!! I would love to see them...
