I thought I would explain myself regarding me posting about contacting a member outside of this forum which I now gather is against policy since my post was immediately removed. I have been a member here for just a short time and in that time have become educated somewhat regarding diamonds. I also must admit that after rereading all of my posts that I must to appear to some to be a basket case who cant make up her mind.ie. I love my setting... I want to change it to a solitaire... I love the diamond... I want to change my diamond.. etc...
If you have followed my posting at all you know of my frustration in finding a diamond locally.I have been restricted to purchasing the diamond from the jewelry store in town where my husband purchased my initial diamond. Its been frustrating to say the least when I can find virtual diamonds that fall within the HCA guidelines for an outstanding stone but am not able to purchase them because my money is tied up at a local store. That being said it seems like every time I post something only a few certain people answer. I must admit that I am rather embarrassed at myself when I read my earlier posts but such is the nature of this forum. To make a long stry short I currently have a vs2 /I color 1.34 stone, have 2000 left on credit at the jewelry store after all of my transactions and they havent been able to find me stone I am comfortable with.Yesterday it seems my luck had changed as the salesperson called to tell me that while she couldnt lower the price of a stone I was considering , she would in fact try to source me a GIA virtual stone if I could find one I liked. One could imgine my surprise and excitedness at this prospect but also I was weary of posting this on a public forum for fear that she would see it and read it as it isnt their normal policy. So.. I thought rather mistakenly that if I were able to get in touch with one member in particular who always seems to respond to my posts that perhaps she would be able to help me and I wouldnt need to risk this info being public. So that is why I posted what I did last night. So please accept my apologies for the faux pas and know that it was done in error and without malicious intent.
That being said can somebody please find me a virtual GIA stone that is around 14,000 dollars! I rreally need the help and for those of you that are tired of reading my posts that may seem silly you can finally be done with me after you do! I posted one last night vs2/I with medium blue fluorescence. Maybe somebody else could comment on that stone as I am considering it. Any other suggestions are welcome and appreciated. I am open. The only criteria is it must be a GIA certified stone.I have a budget of 14,00 but you know how that goes..PLEASE HELP
