Anyone have any tips on where to buy a men''s platinum wedding band for a good price?

Does that "comfort fit" thing actually make a difference? Anything else I should be looking for?

Thanks!

e-weddingbands.com has some good ones.

There are lots of positive comments about them on here--I didn''t find anything negative.
I don''t know anything about the quality of the diamonds they put in their bands though.

Signed Pieces has competitive prices on their wedding bands. As for comfort fit, some people find it makes a difference, others not so. It''s best to check it out at a local jeweller''s first.

I think comfort fit does make a difference. I don''t even notice these bands are there!

I think comfort fit makes a difference too. But some people are more sensitive than others. Can you purchase some cheapies to try out? I bought some stainless steel bands on ebay to try out different widths and fits. None of them cost me more than $7 each. I also got a really thick steel comfort fit (3/4 round) band set from *gasp* QVC. The whole set cost about $21 with shipping. I have bad reactions when I wear gold, so these steel bands also come in handy when I don''t want to mess up my plat ering.

We got DH''s platinum wedding band from Signed Pieces/Facets ... he loves it. It''s comfort fit 4mm. (He works with his hands alot & wanted something comfy). It wasn''t the "best" price we found -- but fair ... he liked theirs better for some reason.

I agree that comfort fit definitely makes a difference. I also like e-weddingbands.com, they are very nice to work with.
