Platinum vs. White gold

What would you guys recommend if choosing between platinum and white gold and why??

WG will require you to get it replated every once in a while. Plating takes about 30 minutes about $30-40. If cost is not an issue get platinum.

If you were looking for things to cut out price, would you skimp on the platinum to have other things you wanted?

Yeah if I was worried about price I''d opt for white gold. I have a white gold ring and I love it, I don''t know why I prefered it over plat, I just did

personally I think the price is just too high to justify at the moment, but its really down to preference and budget
