Platinum Solitaire with White Gold Ring Guard?

Hi Everyone!

I have a Platinum Cushion Solitaire and I want to get a ring guard for it. However, I am finding it difficult to find ring guards I like in platinum to match the metal of my ring.

Is it bad to put a platinum solitaire in a white gold ring guard?

Well, it's not something you want to wear long term together because they are different densities/hardness and will rub against each other. Is this a temporary fix or a permanent one?

I was worried about the metals as well, just thought I would see if anyone had any problems.

As far as temporary or permanent, I haven''t decided. Just a small addition right now as we will be having a long engagement, but I think once I have the wedding band it won''t be necessary anymore.
