I've decided to list the ring I bought a couple of years ago. I've worn it daily since then and I'm honestly a bit gutted to be putting it up for sale, but I'm testing the waters to see if it finds a new home, as I'm hoping to fund another project.
I purchased the ring from a reputable auction house in Sweden, where it was examined by two gemologists. It was sold to me as a 2.50 ct K/SI diamond. The stone measures 8.7 mm in diameter. The diamond has a typical checkerboard-pattern.
The ring is from 1946, made in platinum, and has 0.01 ct old mine cut melee in the band, and even the milgrain is original.
Asking price is 13000usd.
