My wife and I bought her engagement ring from Robbins Bros in Houston when they first opened their store here in ''05, we had very good luck with them when we first got the ring a customer platinum made by them to look exactly like the Ritani Endless love ring. However as with the stories I searched on here, recently we have had some very bad service I guess due to them opening too many stores too quickly here and I wanted some help to see if her ring is now ruined. We asked Robbins bros to add a spacer into her ring and explained that it was platinum and the girl helping my wife noted this on the paperwork. Well when we got the ring back we realized that the jeweler took off the platinum stamp on the ring and 2 weeks later notice the discoloration of a gold''ish metal rather than the clean color of platinum. We have talked with RB and they plan on fixing the situation and replacing the white gold spacer with platinum one, but the question now is will the ring be back to 100% strength with this replaced or should we complain to receive a new ring?
