PLATINUM RING-TINY GOLD SPOT AFTER SIZING??

I recently purchased a platinum ring that was resized to 4.25, but there is now a tiny spec of yellowish color all the way under the prong setting on the one side. Very hard to see but want advise on possible problem when soldering before I bring it back to the setter. Thanks

They may have used some yellow gold to "fill in" a spot...thinking no one would notice...This happened to me once and I demanded they fix it and then never went back to that jeweler.
