i have rings i''d like to stack- one is platinum and the other is 18k rose gold. i''d wear a spacer band in between the two so should the spacer be gold or platinum? either way it''ll be different metals next to each other but what''s the better option of the two?
its just a spacer right? so why spend the extra $$ on platinum just my personal opinion, I bought a 1mm 14k yellow gold toe ring(spacer) since I can''t seem to find 1mm anywhere and only toe rings come in 1mm (well the ones I found anyways) to go in between my future 18k yellow eternity an 18k ering with plat head. so go for the gold spacer is my thoughts
hi D&T- it''s a spacer but more like a third ring worn in between the two (might have some small stones in it). i''m wondering about going with gold or platinum because of the effects it may have on the rings being different metals. where did you find your 1mm band? i haven''t seen any that thin before.
oh I found them on ebay, a seller by the name of Gems of gold, its considered a toe ring, but works for me, its so thin and dainty that i can hardly tell its even there,
ETA: oh if you were considering some stones then hmm,, thats a toughy.
I don''t think it matters. Get whichever you like best. I''d probably go with platinum just not to have three different metals (as in if you went with white gold. Plus WG has to be rhodium plated.)
ooh, good point DS. i didn''t even think about the different gold mixes next to each other. i like your legacy band. i know it''s 2mm wide, is it also the same height? how many points each are the diamonds?
