Ok, so I am in a place where I really need an outside opinion and I think my mom and friends are tired of all my requests for their opinions, so I figured where better to go that to the lovely people of PS!!!! ļ
Here is where I stand. I really love the idea of a ring that from first glance looks like a simple RB solitaire, but at closer inspection, it has little details that make it unique. I am looking for a ¡§classic, but unique¡¨ look.
Here is some info going in:
- I love clean lines, but I also like the vintage/antique look
- I would like to wear a plain wedding band with my erring and one day add an anniversary band that is an eternity ring.
- I would like the wb to sit as flush as possible to the erring and the size I like for that band is about 3mm
- I am looking at 1.25 carats, unless the setting goes much past $2K, then I may have to go a bit smaller, but ideally no smaller than 1 carat
So, I need input and feedback on which elements would look best. Obviously, I am going to have someone design this ring for me. I am currently considering the following: Leon Mege, Mark at ERD, WF and some people have suggested mark Morrell, so I will have to look into him as well. I want to have a better idea of what to tell the designer I like and since I am still deciding, I think I should wait to talk to them directly about a specific design.
PLEASE HELP!!!
I am going to add the photos and the links of the rings I like and let you know which elements I like best¡K
FIRST
Here is a link to Leon. I really like the collar of diamonds around the stone, but I am not a huge fan of the profile and I think I would prefer a different kind of shank¡K

SECOND
Here is a Mark Morrell link. The one is the 4th one down and called Jeni-NO46as.
I like the collar and the fact a wb would fit nicely with it, bit I am not on love with the entire look of the ring.
