Wedding Placement Card Ideas

I am having a wedding on Lake Geneva WI in September. Does anyone have any fun ideas for place cards????

Great suggestions!! I saw the chairs online and they do look cool. I had an idea of getting little wooden speed boats that will hold the placement cards but i cant seem to find anywhere that sells them. Any ideas???

Someone on another wedding website I frequent did origami swans as her placecard holders, I thought that was so cute and thoughtful. I am just planning to do classic tented cards as follows:

I love the potted roses! But I agree they would be pretty costly. You havent seen any wooden boat place cards holders on the best sites have you? Thanks,

We had a small wedding (28 guests) and I used cache pots, like those pictured, but ours were black (ordered from Pottery Barn for $1.50 a piece). I stenciled each guest's name on the side and we planted kalanchoe about 3 weeks before the wedding. It made for a beautifull table so we didn't have to buy a centerpiece (we all sat at one huge table), which ended up saving us money.
