Pinkish-Brown body color in I/VS2?

Hey guys! I was doing a little search on JA today and found this stone:

When I turned it to the side to look at body color, I found that it had the coolest pinkish-brown champagne color to it! I've never seen this before. The cert lists no fluorescence, so... what is it? Could it just be the lighting? (although JA seems to use the same setup for all the videos...) If not, would this have any effect on the value of the stone? Just wondering.

Not sure but that black spot on the face is vs2?

I thought the clarity grade was weird on that myself.


But in regards to the color, I feel like the lighting James Allen uses shows brown undertones more than yellow.

That's weird.

It may be the lighting or the photographer wore a pinkish shirt that day.
Lights change color temp as they warm up so perhaps it was the first video taken that day.
Perhaps it was at sunrise and the pinkish light was shining on the wall behind the photographer.

That pinkish color in the video is not the color of a GIA I diamond.
It GIA graded it I then it is I, not what we see in the video.
If you buy it I strongly doubt you'll see that color in person.

Sounds more reasonable than a cool colored diamond! It seems like JA would have a more "controlled" setting for these videos... for QC and all.
