Pink Pear Sizes

I''m looking to buy a pink sapphire that''s a very very light pink colour, sort of like the colour a diamond would take on if it was pink. But I''m having difficulty finding a sapphire that colour, possibility because I''ve read in many places how they''re more valuable in the hot pink hue. I was hoping someone could help me out locating something like this. Since my hands are tiny, I''m looking for a small stone, maybe 6x4mm? Around the size of a 0.4ct diamond.

Are there any sites someone can recommend? Any sites that sell gemstones who are willing to do custom ring designs as well?

Call Natural Sapphire Company or check out their website, they do great custom work and Steve Bliss would be more than happy to try and help you find a sapphire that will work for you.

You could try Gemnation. "Barry" is a pleasure to work with. I''ve had more luck with them than the NSC - better pricing and better quality. That''s just my experience though. Good luck! And please be sure to post pictures!

I have a 6x4mm emerald cut pink sapphire! It is pretty dark pink, but it will give you an idea of the size. My ring size is 5.75. I''ll try to post a pic, I''ve never tried before.

Kareberry: NSC is a great suggestion. Also, check out the colored gemstone forum...other suggestions for dealers over there....
