This is so cool! That's such an amazingly bright pink.

Amazon river dolphins are actually fairly pink (though not as pink as this dolphin!!). The Pittsburgh Zoo had one in its aquarium for years and years, but I think it's illegal to capture them now so you don't see them around. The one in the zoo died a few years ago at the age of 34 or something. They're very cool looking.

Not to burst any bubbles, but this looks very similar to a photo of an albino dolphin I had seen not too long ago. Are we sure the source is reliable and it isn''t retouched?

There are a lot of articles about it, I think it''s just a VERY pink albino dolphin.

Boo- It probably is retouched a bit. I looked up other pictures of the ''albino dolphin'' and they are more light pink than this one and it looks to be the same dolphin. Oh well. I think it''s cute and I''ll continue to think it''s bubble gum pink!

I looked it up, the albino I remember does have a pinker hue, probably from the lack of pigment in the underskin as well as the outter layers (much like the pink on a horse''s nose when there''s no pigment ). There was an albino orca not TOO long ago, but she was white.
