Not sure which description means the most valuable colour, what are the prices for each?

Both are very expensive. 200000 per carat. I need definite information if GIA has set certain parameters for describing VIVID, and different rules for INTENSE

Check the GIA report, there should be a color scale there.

Generally, the lower right is more expensive than the upper left. In this case, Vivid is better than Intense in color.

Do you have a copy of a fancy colour report SC to post?

Link to a BN fancy color stone''s report.

Not that clear, but it is on the line of saturation. Intense is less than Vivid in grade.
Ah thank you! I was looking on the GIA site and couldn''t find anything, thought I saw a CDR in the past but couldn''t find it again.

HI All!
Microtel- all things being equal "Fancy Vivid Pink" is a deeper color than "Fancy Intense Pink"....
The problem is that in diamonds- especially fancy colors- more especialy pink- all things are NEVER equal. There can be differnces in the cut, the shape, the hue, the way the diamond broadcasts the color- and a whole host of visual charachteristics.

There can be a multitude of reasons the intense might be a better stone than the vivid.
The stone in the photo is Fancy Intense Pink
