Sorry JulieN I have NO IDEA what you''re talking about lol!!! You''d have to ask the guy who made it. Hey cinderella I love the ring in the pic beside your name! Was just oggling it before. Can you tell me what cut it is and size etc? It looks like an asscher but it''s oblong!
Sorry! I just can''t stop posting pictures! It''s the first time I''ve ever done it and it''s so much fun! I got the ring four days ago and today I took over a hundred piccies of it Gotta go soon coz hubby just got home but will come back tomorrow to read your comments (it''s nighttime here in New Zealand)
Your rings are just beautiful!!! I noticed that you said you are in New Zealand. What part? We spent two wonderful weeks traveling around over there this past February.
Thanks for all your comments everyone! It doesn''t look purple in sunlight at all to me but I do see purpley blue flashes of light coming out of it quite a bit. I''m actually amazed by how many colours it flashes - basically the entire ROYGBIV spectrum! Every single colour of the rainbow! I''ve even seen indigo!
At first I wanted a two carat but my jeweller''s advice was to increase quality and indeed I can appreciate having a high colour and good clarity. My last diamond had a visible flaw which I "found" a few days after getting it. This one is definitely eye clean. It looks a bit hazy in the middle in the second pic coz I hadn''t cleaned it properly but in true life it is not hazy at all. It is just beautiful!
Sundial, I''m from Auckland but I try to get out of the big city when I can because I love travelling around NZ. I know I am biased but it really is an absolutely beautiful country. There are so many parts of NZ that will take your breath away. Take a second to click on this link
Well I''ve had a good look at the stone in sunlight and it does actually seem to have the slightest purpley tint. Amazing how you guys picked it up before I had even! I really quite like it actually
Thanks for posting that link to the New Zealand pics - it is such a breathtakingly beautiful country and we so enjoyed our time there! I have to say that your ring is a thing of beauty as well!!!
