I know there is a thread on I colored diamonds, but I was wondering if anyone has pictures of their I colored diamond(s) in different lighting conditions (same ring, different lighting)? TIA! :)

I hope that this helps! My e-ring is from whiteflash I colored VS1 Hearts & Arrows!

These pics are funky looking, I am still trying to get the hang of it!

This is in a darker light. I hope this helps. The ring is much beautiful in person IMO. You can''t go wrong with a heart and arrows diamond. So, I hope that this helps!

Photos can be helpful. However, before you decide on what color you want I think it would be best to see different colors in person.

if you are in the states do try and see if there is a Jareds nearby and stop in to take a look at their PEERLESS collection (leave your wallet at home

) as they are AGS 0 ideal diamonds so you can see the performance and colors in person of what an IDEAL diamond should look like

Ditto the last 2, also check out these videos:

Princess cut colors:

I have an I color princess cut (ring) and a J color RB (pendant), but my camera is really old and doesn''t take good close-up shots. These videos as well as real-life views are much better than what I could give you.

You can see photos of my I colour diamond here:

I guess you''re trying to decide on whether you like the colour or not? As everybody else has said, there are I colour diamonds and I colour diamonds! Some show a warm tone, others don''t. My diamond has strong blue fluor so faces up brilliant white most of the time. I adore it and never thought I''d buy an I colour diamond!!!

Here are some pics of my 1.72 I VS2 Cushion. I tried to find some that captured the warmth of the stone but it''s pretty hard. It''s the same stone in all pictures but in different settings (another long story that is still not over). The only time I notice the warmth is when I''m in my car in certain sunlight conditions (but it may also have to do with the fact that my car interior is tan??) and even then it doesn''t bother me. It never looks yellow, like most people would incorrectly assume it should. When I do see the warmth it looks antique white if that makes sense. We were afraid to go that low in color and never thought we would, however I do not regret it one bit. We were able to get a larger size by going to an I color and it was TOTALLY worth it for us. It sparkles so much and is larger than I ever dreamed I would have. All people see is the size and sparkliness of it! For reference, when I had it appraised I was told that it''s on the low end of the I color spectrum (meaning closer to a J than an H) which surprised me but didn''t bother me at all. We had compared it to an H colored cushion (or maybe it was a G....I can''t remember) and mine was so bright and sparkly you couldn''t see the color difference. So cut has a lot to do with it as well. None of my friends thought it was even close to an I color. I think they expected it to have a yellowish tint, but in reality it''s still in the near-colorless range so the warmth is so slight you don''t see it in normal everyday conditions. On it''s own it''s gorgeous and once set you don''t really notice the warmth unless you are holding it up next to colorless stones (how often does that happen?). I have to say that later when I looked at more loose stones (for fun) when visiting various jewelry stores and saw the loose H''s and I''s next to D''s, E''s and F''s with certain store lighting I can definitely see the difference and probably would have been against getting an I color seeing it so close to colorless stones, but if you were to show me those same stones in settings and taken out of the case individually the difference is not that noticeable. The first I color cushion I saw was one that we were considering purchasing from James Allen. I was nervous that it would be too warm (maybe even yellowish???) and that I would''t like the I color but when we recieved it all my fears were put to rest. I thought it was gorgeous and sparkly and didn''t even notice the warmth because there was nothing to compare it against so we knew then that we could love an I color :) Sorry this is so long but I know how hard it was for us to decide on taking a chance on an I color cushion and all the advice and pictures given on PS by other people was invaluable and really helped so I''m hoping to do the same for someone else
