In a break from the strapless trend (that makes the fat between my arm and chest squidge - you know what I''m talking about

) ...does anyone have any pictures of 3/4 sleeve or long-sleeved dresses?

Only my own, but the style is very retro

I KNOW!! That''s why I included the large picture for that one! That''s a princess dress if I''ve ever seen one!

You and your hubby look so elegant and happy on your wedding day! Your beautiful church looks happy too! (sunny and bright!)

Thanks for the VERY kind comments

The style back then was for ''hippy'' chic

My dress was made out of broderie anglaise. Full leg-o-mutton sleeves and deep frills were the height of fashion back then.

But if I was doing it for the first time now, I''d love that princess dress......

The Mary's Bridal princess dress is tagged by The Knot as "Affordable ($601-$1500)"! Style Name: FA-FJ.

ETA: Don't worry about your "hippy chic" wedding - my dad wore a powder blue tux to their wedding!! Not his choice (he chose dark grey, maternal grandmother chose the blue), but still a very 70's wedding!

Thanks everyone!

Bagpuss --hippy chic is awesome :) I think you look stunning.

bagpuss I LOVE LOVE LOVE your bouquet! It''s so colourful but still classic. You look wonderful!

I really like the first dress JC posted... the Demetrios gown, and the fourth one... the La Sposa. LOVE EM!

I saw this one that someone was selling (but I can''t remember where anymore! UGH!) It''s a Vera Wang that was custom-made and changed a bit I think. Sorry about the small size of the picture
