Hi, I am trying to find some real life pictures of the Whiteflash Verismo fixed bezel pendant setting, and I'm having no luck! Anyone here have one? I'd love to hear thoughts from someone who has this necklace!

I'd like to have a fixed bezel pendant necklace made, and I'm trying to find the setting that most closely resembles the Tiffany DBTY setting. Based on all the photos I've seen, it appears that the WF setting is very close, as the shape of the bezel is more rounded, as opposed to BGD's fixed bezel version which has a slight groove (not sure if that's the right term) and is a more narrow bezel. While the Tiffany bezels appear delicate, they have a nice presence and thickness to them (without appearing bulky). I've found that I prefer a bezel that is not razor thin.

Ultimately, I love the Tiffany bezel and want to go with the vendor who can most closely replicate it. The diamond I have is .74ct ACA, so a bit big for this style necklace. I like the fixed bezel, because it doesn't flip. And I'm also interested in having something added to the back of the necklace, so the culet doesn't poke me and is protected.

I hope all that wasn't too complicated. If anyone has pictures of the WF Verismo setting, or a suggestion of another vendor I should contact for this project, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thank you!

Here are some pictures to explain.

Re: Pics of WF Verismo bezel pendant setting? Looking for DB

I think prior discussions have covered that the difference between the WF and BGD bezels is a matter of personal taste. I agree that from the photos the WF looks more like the Tiffany version. That said, I personally like the BGD version better than the Tiffany version (I haven't seen the WF version in person) -- I like the more delicate bezel that is tucked in a bit more at the edge of the stone (I think thats what you mean by groove). I think it shows more of the stone around the perimeter and just looks more refined. It doesn't really look like a "groove" IRL (at least not on my petite .4ct stone) -- it is just a more delicate bezel.
FWIW with a stone that size I would probably want it more protected. I would also want my neck more protected from the culet -- it can be a bit pokey in the winter with scarves and coats overtop and I'd imagine a larger stone would be more so. I'd look at either a minimalist stationary cup bezel or maybe something like the BGD one that has 3 loops on the back (I think it is the Barbara?) but you can't see the loops from the front. IMHO, from the distance other people will see your necklace the presence or absence of the "eyes" that are typical of DBTY will not really be noticeable, so the biggest factors would be keeping the stone safe and making sure it was comfy to wear. I'm sure there are other threads on the relative flippy-ness of various settings from PS vendors and elsewhere. In my experience the biggest factor in whether something flips is really the combo of the length of the chain, size of the stone/setting, and where it falls on my neck (diff for everyone).
Good luck!
