Pics of the ring I bought!

Hey everyone,

So I promised some pics of the engagement ring I bought from BN, so they are! Somehow they don''t seem to quite do it justice, but I''ll keep playing with my camera.

I''m very happy with the ring. The diamond sparkles like crazy. For a reminder, it''s a Sig. ideal, 0.82 RB, G, SI1. Thanks to everyone again for your help. I''d love to hear some opinions of the ring!

Andruw31, here is the link for the setting. Yes it''s from BN as well. I went with the 18k white gold but there''s also a platinum version for 2x the price.

ooooohhh, lovely, I looove the setting. The extra bling of the sidestones adds something I think. Reminds me of the Tiffs channel set solitaire but with 4 prongs.

And for completeness'' sake, here is a picture of the ring on her hand

I was pretty confident in the proposal, we''ve been dating over 4 years and the last 6 months most of our talk has been about marriage...but I guess you never know right?? The ring had to be sized down to 5 from 6, but that was done without any difficulty. She loves it, and it''s got rave reviews from everyone she has shown. It really is ridiculous how much it sparkles.

Just a quick note on how pleased I was with BN, in case anyone out there is on the fence. From many posts here it seems that BN is the least liked online vendor for a number of reasons. Yes, they may have been a tad more expensive, but it wasn''t a HUGE amount. For a Canadian ordering from the US, a big bonus is having BN Canada. Perhaps some of the other vendors would consider branching out above the border?? The order was processed extremely fast, I was treated very well by their customer service agents, and the shipping was more transparent than I''ve ever experienced. All in all, a very comfortable purchase for me.

Thanks once again to everyone for your help the last few weeks, I truly appreciate it.
